Do you have any lore ideas for a soulmates AU?

I may have a few!!!

— soulmates are the same in every life. from one life to the next you have the same soulmate, and sometimes you get the sense that you remember, that your person has always been your person, and sometimes you don’t.

— a variation on the red string theory, but everyone has a coloured string attached to them, and the person who has the corresponding colour is your soulmate. there can be slight variations in colour, making you think you’ve found your soulmate, but in reality, it’s not.

— this is more a plot idea, but I think it would be fun to think about how in the future a piece of tech is created which helps you find your soulmate. however, as with a lot of tech, it falls into the wrong hands/isn’t used for it’s intended purpose. the tech gets used by people wanting to make certain people their soulmate, upsetting the natural balance of the soulmate… world? people find their bonds taken away from them, suddenly without their soulmate.

i will answer wolfie and vash, since i can’t fully see wolf and roberto!

i think yes, but it probably originally takes some liquid courage or maybe an incredibly dangerous tomorrow looming to kinda kick start it. mostly bc i don’t think vash would make any moves; it would have to come down to you or wolfwood. vash is flighty, too, and you may have to persuade him that he doesn’t make this more complicated, you want him, etc.

but once established, i think the dynamic is wolfwood leading in some capacity. but vash is eager and perhaps sometimes rather…animalistic? not necessarily in roughness but. i think it’s a plant thing. alien thing. i think he kinda has all these more base urges and interests that he usually tries to kinda suppress. but with encouragement from you and wolfwood, would come out more.

i think vash’s stamina is defs a two person job in this regard lol

while i think wolfwood really likes sex, and really likes it with both of you, i think he isn’t quite as spry as vash in this way lol so he may kinda leave you to vash……for better or for worse. he’ll get stern w him if he needs to.

mostly i think it’s actually rather emotional and intimate. i think you have to be exclusive with at least one if not both of them. i think they’re both actually very emotional during sex and they don’t sleep around too casually.

it’s fun, though, full of love, and a little bit of angst.
